Judge: Daytona Beach's public sleeping law unconstitutional

Now that Daytona Beach’s public sleeping law has been found to be unconstitutional, I feel like this is a great time to bring this news in front of the Orlando City Council.  I have until February 27th to put a speech and visuals together and the possibility of getting more than two minutes allotted to me to speak on the subject (i.e. getting on the agenda; which will probably be difficult to do if they know I’m with Occupy Orlando).  In 2008, studies found that Orlando is the most violent and third meanest city towards their homeless population.  With the precedent that Daytona Beach has set (and they’re only 40 minutes away), I think this is a better time than ever to get rid of this absurd anti-public sleeping law.
