Of course, these people are in a state of denial, because brands and brand names infiltrate our very psyche. Even the most enlightened of us, the intellectuals, the subversive readers and writers, are still ridden with brands. Names that pierce your very mind, images that are designed to stick, and how they stick! Commercials, advertisements are no more noble than the worst of brainwashing propaganda. People become brands, brands become people, to the point where you cannot distinguish them from each other.
